Each recipe has its own calorie density, so grams differ — richer bowls (beef, pork, Signature) need fewer grams than lean chicken.
Typical adult maintenance from the vet formula (RER = 70 × kg^0.75, MER ≈ 1.36× RER), the same math behind every McDuffy portion.
Puppies ~1.8×, seniors ~0.9×; a very active dog gets ~+10%, a couch potato ~−10%.
Ribs visible: +10% | Just right: standard | Ribs hard to feel: −10%. Re-check every few weeks and adjust.
A starting point, not a prescription. Real needs vary with metabolism, breed and health — as much as 50% either way. Watch your dog's body condition and adjust, and ask your vet (or message us on Viber) for anything specific. Puppies and pregnant/nursing dogs have special needs — take the quiz for a tailored plan.
